3. Financial Data and Third‑Party Integrations

(applicable once Plaid & paid subscriptions launch)

3.1 Plaid Bank Connections

Efficient Dollar will allow you to securely connect financial accounts through Plaid, a trusted financial data integration provider.

By using Plaid services within Efficient Dollar, you:

Agree to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy
Authorize Plaid to transmit your financial data to us securely
Understand that Efficient Dollar never sees or stores your bank login credentials

3.2 Use of Financial Data

If you choose to link accounts or store financial data:

We process the data to provide budgeting insights, analytics, and financial summaries
We do not sell your financial data
You may request deletion of all stored data at any time

4. Payments and Subscriptions

4.1 Paid Plans

Some features may require payment. By subscribing, you agree to:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 if you have no paid subscription).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms
Engage in misuse or fraud
Compromise platform security

You may delete your account at any time.

Upon deletion, we will remove or anonymize stored personal and financial data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when new features launch (including subscriptions or Plaid integrations).
A “Last updated” date will be included at the top of the page.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
