What Cookies Are

What We Use

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): Used to measure traffic and understand how people use the calculators.
• Advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, Reddit): Used to measure our marketing and to show ads about Efficient Dollar to people who have visited the site. These companies learn which pages and calculators you used — never what you entered or what your result was. They are not loaded on pages that show your own saved results.
• Our own cookies: Anonymous identifiers that let us count visits without counting one person twice, and one that keeps your saved results connected to your browser. None of them contains your name or email address.

Some calculators keep the inputs you type in your browser’s storage so your work is still there when you come back. Those inputs are not sent to us.

How to Control Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers’ built-in tracking protection, and ad blockers, stop the advertising cookies above. Google provides an optional opt-out add-on for Google Analytics if you prefer not to be measured. The Privacy Policy lists more ways to opt out of personalized ads.
